Guru Ravidas Ayurved University (GRAU), Hoshiarpur is a State University specialising in Ayurvedic and Homoeopathy education. The university has been established by Government of Punjab by an act no. 4 of 2010 f. Guru Ravidas Ayurved University Punjab (GRAUP) has been specifically established for the upliftment of AYUSH in the state of Punjab and country as a whole. It started functioning with effect from 1st February, 2011. Guru Ravidas Ayurved University Punjab (GRAUP) is one of its own kinds in North India. As of 2015, 12 Ayurvedic colleges (including one government ayurvedic college) and 4 Homoeopathic colleges are affiliated with this university. GRAU regulates the conduct of both undergraduate and postgraduate Ayurvedic and Homoeopathic teaching in 17 affiliated colleges in the State of Punjab.
