Initially known as Rohtak University, Maharishi Dayanad University (MDU) came into existence in 1976 with an objective to impart quality education to their students with provisions for research. The University has got recognition from UGC and has also got “A” grade accreditation from NAAC. There are various courses offered by MDU under one roof such as Management courses, Information Technology, Professional course and much more. The B.Ed course offered by MDU has got recognition all over the country and every student consider it a privilege to get admission into this course offered by MDU. Now the MDU has also started offering distance learning program to their students with regard to B.Ed.

Students who are interested in doing B.Ed through Distance learning program can now apply for MDU Distance B.Ed admission 2014. The application process for the same starts in the month of July and students who are interested can fill the application form online. The curriculum offered to students who have enrolled for MDU Distance B.Ed admission 2014 is the same which is being offered to regular students. Students who have taken admission in the distance learning B.Ed program need to come to the University only during their exams.

The basic eligibility criteria to apply for MDU Distance B.Ed admission 2014 is minimum 50% marks in graduation or post graduation. An applicant also needs to submit the following documents with the application form:

1. Graduation mark sheet and degree

2. 10th class marksheet and degree

3. 12th class marksheet and degree

4. Character Certificate (Original)

5. 8 Passport size photographs
