Sri Padmavati Mahila Mahavidyala is a state University and is recognized by UGC and approved by BCI, INC, AICTE, and Accridated by NAAC. It was established in 1983 by N.T. Rama Rao to provide quality education to women candidates. SPMM offers various Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Diploma, and Research programme in different fields of Arts & Humanities, Science, Engineering & Technology, Commerce, Management, and many more.
Eligibility Criteria
- Master degree in the concerned/ related subject from recognized University, with at least 55% of marks for general category and 50% marks in the case of SC/ST/PHC category.
- For Part Time PhD, Candidates should be a member of the staff of any academic/ research/ professional/ technical institution. Candidate should have a minimum work experience for a period of two years and currently holding a position.

Candidate should attach the following documents given below:
- Demand Draft
- 2 self-addressed envelopes 22 cm X 10 cm size one stamped worth Rs.10/- and the other stamped worth Rs.45/-
- PG marks statement and Degree Certificate (attested copy)
- Integrated permanent caste certificate in case of SC/ST/BC applicants (attested copy)
- Evidence of PHC from Government Civil Surgeon
- NET/SLET/JRF/GATE/GPAT certificate to the validity of the score examination if applicable
- Certificate of SSC or its equivalent as proof of date of birth
- Service certificate for Part-time admission

Selection Procedure
- The candidate will be selected on the basis of Research Entrance Test (RESET) conducted by the University followed by a Personal Interview.
Entrance Test
- The entrance test will be of two and a half hours. The test is divided into two sections. Part-A will have 50 objective types of questions for 50 marks. Part B shall have the descriptive type of questions for 50 marks containing 5 short essays out of eight questions of 10 marks each. The question paper and medium of writing RESET will be in English except for Telugu studies.
