Rajiv Gandhi University was formerly known as Arunachal University or RGU. It was established in the year of 1984 in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. The foundation stone for the Rajiv Gandhi University was laid by the then Prime Minister of India Late Smt. Indira Gandhi. The campus is located at top Rono Hills and campus is spread over 302 acres of land. The university has 32 affiliated colleges. RGU is recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC) and approved by the AICTE (All India Council for Teacher Education). It also has been accredited with "B Grade" by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). The University offers Under Graduate, Post-Graduate, M. Phil and Ph.D. programmes. Rajiv Gandhi University also offers some courses through Distance Mode of Education. All the courses offered by the Distance Department are approved by DEB.

Rajiv Gandhi University - RGU B. Ed and M. Ed Admissions 2018-2019

Rajiv Gandhi University Offers Admissions to the B. Ed program of two years duration covered in four semesters and M. Ed programme of two years covered in four semesters for the academic year 2018-2019. The application form can be filled through online or offline mode.

Eligibility Criteria:-

For B. Ed

• Candidate with graduation degree under 10+2+3 scheme with 50% marks in B.A / B. Sc / B.Com / B. Tech / BE (with mathematics) from RGU or UGC recognized university is considered eligible for the course.

For M. Ed

• Candidates with B.Ed. degree from RGU or any other UGC recognized university with minimum 55% marks is eligible to apply for the M. Ed Admissions.

Candidates can purchase the prospectus with application form from RGU campus or download the prospectus by visiting the official website. To complete the registration process, submit the duly filled application form in person at the University Admission Office.

Once the forms are submitted the candidates are requested to check their application status on the university website.
