Adesh University is a non-profit private university located in Bathinda, Punjab, India. It was established in July 2012 by Act no. 6 of 2012 of Government of Punjab. The University is recognized by the UGC (University Grants Commission) and approved by the MCI (Medical Council of India), DCI (Dental Council of India), and Government of India. Adesh Foundation started its journey in the field of Engineering and Technology as Adesh Institute of Engineering and Technology, Faridkot in the year 1996. Adesh Foundation also established a Medical College at Bathinda. There are seven institutes under Adesh University. Adesh University offers various UG/ PG/ PG Diploma/ Diploma/ Advanced Diploma and Research programs in different streams.

Adesh University Ph.D. Admissions 2018-2019

Adesh University Offers Full-time/Part-time Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) in various specializations for the academic session 2018-2019. Eligible or Interested candidates can fill the application form through online mode on its official website. Payment of the application fee could be done either online or offline.

Eligibility Criteria:-

• Candidates should have an MD/MDS or M.Sc. in the relevant specialization with at least 55% marks or equivalent from a recognized university or college.
• The candidate who has passed the M. Phil degree in the relevant specializations from a recognized university are also eligible to apply for Ph.D. Programme.
• Relaxation of 5% marks ineligibility will be applicable to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer)/Persons.

Steps to Apply-

• Go to the official website of University.
• Fill the online application form carefully.
• Take a printout of duly filled in application form.
• Attach all the photocopies of the required documents.
• Pay the application fee either in online or offline mode.
• Make the payment of the application fee through RTGS or in cash/ through Demand Draft has drawn in favor of “Registrar, Adesh University” payable at Bathinda.

Documents required at the time of Admission:-

• Self-attested copy of Matric or equivalent certificate for date of birth.
• Scorecard of 10+2 along with Diploma/ UG Degree/ PG Examination (as applicable).
• Character Certificate from the Institution last attended.

Selection Process:-

Candidates will be selected on the basis of entrance test and personal interview conducted by the University. Candidates who have qualified UGC NET/CSIR-NET/JRF examination or GATE/SLET/Teacher Fellowship and M.Phil examination are exempted from the entrance test conducted by the University.
